RECREATION
With swimming pool, tennis courts (from Autumn 2010), a state-of-the-art gymnasium, personal trainers, a hiking trail and long woodland walks, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to work up an appetite at The Cornwall. If you prefer gentler pursuits, then a game of croquet in front of the White House should appeal.
And if ‘playing’ actually means rolling down banks, jumping in puddles, and hiding behind trees, you and your play-mates won’t be disappointed.
Within the 43-acre Estate there is a Victorian sub-tropical Walled Garden, ornamental lakes and nature trails. Magical treasures such as the old Vinery and a medieval wayside cross lie within the woodland. Who knows where the missing half of the legendary Trewhiddle Hoard lies hidden?
