WALKING IN CORNWALL

The Cornwall Hotel Spa and Estate is so near to some of the best places for walking in Cornwall, including the South West Coast Path.

Cornwall has some of the most scenic stretches of the South West Coast Path and one of the longest stretches with over 300 miles.  As well as walking on the Cornish coast, there is also an inland path network of over 2,400 miles including the likes of walks over Bodmin Moor.  You can always find somewhere to walk in Cornwall.

Locally there are some moderate walks along the Pentewan Valley, some sections wooded, that take you towards Pentewan and Mevagissey.  Around St Austell there are the tranquil China Clay Trails, mostly traffic free paths that have been created in and around the china clay district that skirts the northern and western edge of St Austell.  Try "The Green Corridor" that leads walkers from St Austell Station in the town centre to Wheal Martyn Country Park.
